VISIT FROM BISHOP
TOUSSAINT ILUKU BOLUMBU
The bishop celebrated a stirring service with an African flair at Christ the King Church in Krumpendorf. The service was accompanied by African rhythms from the groups Esengo and Paulus Worku. Toussaint Iluku Bolumbu accepted the invitation of the pastor of Krumpendorf, Episcopal Vicar Hans-Peter Premur.
As the project sponsor, the bishop then provided insights into our women's aid project as part of an interesting informational exhibition in the church. The Krumpendorf parish raised funds for the project through cultural and social activities. With the support of the Diocese of Gurk and the Diversity Initiative, Pastor Premur was able to personally hand over €5,000. The money will finance a training center for women and girls in the province, which was severely affected by the civil war.
